We may have been a little late, but the first band we saw was Get Laid. Local band, not to be confused the one of the same name from LA. I can't seem to be able to find their MySpace, but I assure you, they're good. Half of them used be in Fall Without Dispair.
The next band was Desperate Union. From just the moment they were setting up, we knew it was going to be a great set. They were amazing. I loved them. Some really good rock. They recently have had a video put on Much, and it's worth YouTubing. And here be their MySpace: [link]
They're also a bunch of great guys. John and I managed to chill with them for a short bit before the next band.
Was it a great band or an okey comedy show? 16th Avenue were deeply entertaining and full of energy. Great tunes and bouts of humor make them win. Their MySpace: [link]
And now came the headliners, The Envy. Fucking great live. The vocalist had enough energy to make up for every person that wasn't there ten fold. If you were there, you would feel the enrgy bounce around the room. Already shared their MySpace in the previous journal, but hey: [link]
Got two CD's and a shirt for good prices, aswell.
Peace out until the next journal.
